More than half of schools in Queensland are now carrying the colourful school supplies company CCSOH, which sells school uniforms and other school paraphernalia.
Queensland’s Education Minister Michelle Roberts says more than $10 million worth of school supplies has been purchased from the company since it began operating in 2017.
Ms Roberts says CCSOs uniform supply program is a success story and it has helped boost the state’s school system.
“I think that it has been very successful,” she said.
The Queensland Education and Training Commission says the number of students using school uniforms increased by more than 5 per cent last year, with nearly 10,000 children using the uniforms.
